Privacy policy

Last updated: 27 May 2026

Mind Launch (“we”, “us”, “our”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect through mindlaunch.com.au and our email funnel, how we use it, who we share it with, and your rights under the Australian Privacy Principles and the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

If you have questions, email josh@mindlaunch.com.au.

1. Who we are

Mind Launch is a coaching company operated by Josh Holliday, based on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland, Australia. We provide 1:1 mentorship and educational content focused on mindset, nervous system regulation, and identity work.

We are the data controller for the personal information collected through our website, ads, email funnel, and booking process.

2. What we collect

We only collect information that we actually need to deliver our services and run the business.

Information you give us directly

  • Name and email address, when you opt in to a lead magnet, newsletter, or workshop
  • Phone number, when you book a discovery call
  • Payment information, including card details and billing address, when you purchase the Mind Launch Mentorship™ or any other paid offer
  • Anything you share in DMs, on calls, in emails, or inside a coaching program, including health-related context where you choose to share it

Information collected automatically

  • IP address, browser type, device type, and operating system
  • Pages visited, time spent, referral source, and other analytics data
  • Cookies and similar tracking technologies (see section 7)

Information from third parties

  • Engagement data from Meta (Facebook and Instagram) ads and ManyChat conversations
  • Email engagement data (opens, clicks, unsubscribes) from ConvertKit

3. Sensitive information

Because the work touches on mental health, you may voluntarily share information about your emotional or psychological state — in DMs, on a discovery call, or inside the mentorship. This is sensitive information under Australian privacy law.

We only collect this where you choose to share it. We treat it confidentially. We do not share it with any third party except where required by law, for example if there is a serious risk to your life or someone else’s.

We are not a healthcare provider. Nothing we do is medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. If you are in crisis, contact Lifeline on 13 11 14 or your local emergency services.

4. How we use your information

  • Deliver the products, services, and content you have opted in to
  • Respond to your messages and book calls
  • Send marketing emails about offers, content, and events. You can unsubscribe at any time
  • Run and measure ads on Meta platforms (Facebook and Instagram)
  • Process payments and manage subscriptions
  • Improve the website, funnel, and offers
  • Comply with legal and tax obligations
  • Protect against fraud, abuse, and security threats

We do not sell your personal information.

5. Who we share it with

We share information with these providers, only as far as they need it to do their job:

Each provider has its own privacy policy. Some, notably Meta, ConvertKit, Stripe, Google, Calendly, Zoom, and Vimeo, may process data outside Australia, including in the United States and the European Union. By using our services you consent to this transfer. We take reasonable steps to see that these providers handle your data securely.

We may also disclose information where required by law, a court order, or to protect our legal rights.

6. Payment information

Card payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your full card number. Stripe is PCI-DSS compliant. See Stripe’s privacy policy at stripe.com/au/privacy.

You can disable cookies in your browser. Some parts of the site may not work as intended if you do.

8. How long we keep your information

We keep your information while you are a customer or subscriber, and for a reasonable period afterwards to meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations. Financial records are generally kept for 7 years under Australian tax law.

If you ask us to delete your data, we will do so within a reasonable time, except where we are legally required to keep it.

9. How we protect it

We use encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls, and reputable third-party platforms. No system is completely secure. If there is a data breach likely to cause you serious harm, we will notify you as required under the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme.
